No, no, no. I’m talking about typing those amazing two words that encompass weeks, months of hard work. Those two words that mean you have finally reached the the culmination of your blood, sweat, and tears.

Yes! Those two beautiful words have played a huge part in my day. My current novel, one I began almost a year ago is finished. Well, the first draft is finished. But dang nabbit, it’s finished.
I couldn’t believe when I typed those words today. The sense of completion was amazing. Finally, after months of starting and stopping, moaning and groaning, ideas coming and going, I have completed the first draft.
I am beyond elated that I have completed the first draft of my second novel. Holy cow! I sound like an author! Before I go all type A, which is totally me, I’m going to bask in the wonderful glow of completion! Tomorrow…..editing begins!! Dun dun dunnnnnnnnnnmn!!!!
